CAREnomics is located at 3601 22nd Place, Lubbock, TX 79410 — just two blocks south of Covenant Medical Center (Covenant Main Hospital).
Our clinic is in the heart of the medical district, with convenient parking and easy access for patients and families.

Every patient at CAREnomics is evaluated and treated directly by Dr. Jesús E. Hidalgo, a wound care specialist with more than 10 years of experience, advanced surgical training, and one of the highest healing outcomes in the region.
Your care at CAREnomics is never delegated — Dr. Hidalgo oversees your healing from start to finish.

Dr. Hidalgo personally:

  • Performs every evaluation
  • Creates each individualized treatment plan
  • Executes all wound care procedures, including debridements
  • Monitors your progress at every visit until full healing

Our nurses and medical assistants support your care under Dr. Hidalgo’s direct supervision, ensuring accuracy, consistency, safety, and the best healing outcome possible.

At CAREnomics, every patient is personally evaluated and treated by Dr. Jesús E. Hidalgo, ensuring consistent, expert-guided care from the first visit until your wound is healed. We emphasize accuracy, advanced treatments, and individualized attention.

Just as important, we are a compassion-centered clinic. We invest in our staff so that every team member delivers the same level of caring, patient-focused support. We host frequent team meetings and encourage our team to remember that serving patients is a privilege, and that each interaction is an opportunity to make someone’s healing journey easier.

Our goal is for every patient to feel the difference the moment they walk through our doors—through kindness, empathy, and a genuine commitment to your healing.

We treat all chronic and complex wounds, including diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, burns, radiation injuries, and non-healing wounds.

Dr. Hidalgo evaluates each case personally to determine the best treatment plan.

Yes. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, and most major insurance carriers. Our office will verify your benefits before your visit; however, it is always best to confirm your specific plan benefits directly with your insurance provider, as coverage can vary by plan.

Some insurance plans require a referral, while others do not. If your plan needs one, our team can assist in obtaining it.

It is difficult to predict exactly how long a wound will take to heal because each patient’s underlying health conditions and many other factors play a major role.
What we can guarantee is that we will do everything possible to make your healing time as short and safe as it can be.

Dr. Hidalgo evaluates every factor affecting your healing and creates a personalized plan to help your wound improve as quickly as your body allows.

Yes. We provide private, comfortable, state-of-the-art hyperbaric chambers, and all hyperbaric evaluations are performed by Dr. Jesús E. Hidalgo, who completed the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) Advanced Training in Hyperbaric Medicine program.

HBOT is only used when medically necessary and ordered directly by Dr. Hidalgo himself.

Our hyperbaric unit features the largest-diameter chambers in Lubbock, designed to provide more space, reduce claustrophobia, and offer a more comfortable experience compared to standard HBOT chambers.
When clinically indicated, HBOT can significantly support healing by improving oxygen delivery to injured or non-healing tissue.

Most procedures are comfortable. We use topical numbing gel, and when needed, additional local anesthesia is provided to ensure minimal discomfort during wound treatment.

The frequency of your visits will depend on your wound’s condition, your overall health, and how your body responds to treatment.
Dr. Hidalgo will determine the most appropriate visit schedule after a thorough evaluation to ensure your wound heals as safely and efficiently as possible.

Most patients can be seen same-day or next-day, depending on urgency. We prioritize wounds that show infection, worsening, or complications.

You can update your insurance information through the Healow patient portal or by following the prompts in our SMS appointment reminders, when available.
